Democracy has kicked in huray!!!

Many people have sounded the warning about the so-called Arab spring, especial former Muslims. We are now starting to see glimpses of a possible Islamist take over after of all the revolutions taking place in the Mid -East.  I do not want to read more into it then what is there but.... is prophecy is unfolding before our eyes?

Democratic Egypt to Ban Bikinis, Beer and King Tut

Except

" ....And lastly, this past week the “freedom folks” in Egypt have put forth their liberty legislation that includesbans on bikinis, mixed bathing on beaches, and drinking beer in public—and they’re even yapping about getting rid of the Sphinx, the pyramids, and other ancient Egyptian archaeological wonders.
Call me weird, but that doesn’t sound like liberty to me."

In light of the Libyan revolution: To the Shores of Tripoli

By Cal Thomas
Name a single Arab or Islamic state, which, after a revolution that has overthrown a dictator, came to embrace political pluralism, religious tolerance and equal rights for women.
You can't, can you?
The U.S. State Department publishes an annual report on human rights practices in Arab states. It consistently finds all are ruled by variations of dictatorial regimes that oppress their people, deny basic freedoms of press, speech, due process and are intolerant of any faith other than Islam, punishing converts to other faiths (a capital offense in some Islamic nations) and anyone who shares other faiths with their people.
The Arab Human Development Report, sponsored by the United Nations Development Programme and authored by Arab scholars, examined the world's seven regions. It ranks Arab countries lowest according to their "freedom score."
What is the popular definition of insanity? Isn't it repeating the same mistakes and expecting different results?
After months of uprisings in Arab nations from Egypt to Yemen, we are now faced with one in Libya, which appears to have ousted Moammar Gadhafi. As with the other nations engaged in revolution, what follows is yet to be determined. So is a judgment on whether the replacements will be any better than their predecessors.
In Libya, the National Transition Council (NTC) has published online what purports to be a draft constitution for the new state. It contains much that sounds good and at least one section that ought to be cause for serious concern. The good stuff includes "guarantees," such as, "The state shall guarantee for woman all opportunities which shall allow her to participate entirely and actively in political, economic and social spheres." (Article 6) And "The State shall guarantee for non-Muslims the freedom of practicing religious rights and shall guarantee respect for their systems of personal status." (Article 1)
There is much else to commend in the draft constitution, but then there is this: "Islam is the religion of the State and the principal source of legislation is Islamic Jurisprudence (Sharia)." (Article 1)
The legal system in Saudi Arabia is based on Sharia law. More than two-dozen other countries operate according to at least some aspects of Sharia law. None of them is known for any of the principles stated in the pluralistic-sounding Libyan draft constitution. By their fruits you shall know them and the fruit in countries where Sharia law is the legal standard is rotten when it comes to tolerance, religious pluralism, a free and independent press and equal rights for women.
It is no jump to an unwarranted conclusion to say if Sharia law is the objective of the TNC, as expressed in its draft constitution, none of the other high-sounding principles are likely to be achieved, much less guaranteed.
None of the nations now experiencing revolutions or unrest have a history of democracy, freedom or human rights. That's because they believe in a God who wants his followers to violently impose their religious beliefs on those who believe differently.
Former Libyan justice minister Mustafa Mohammed Abdul Jalil, who now heads the NTC, said after resigning his post in protest over Gadhafi's shooting of civilian demonstrators, "We are the same as people in other countries, and are looking for the same things."
That remains to be seen. Based on the direction of revolutions in other Arab states and their history -- not to mention the presence of the Muslim Brotherhood and other radical groups that could well hijack whatever yearning for real freedom might be in these movements -- I'm not persuaded.
By the way, since nations are unfreezing Libyan assets and the country is awash in oil, can we please send the NTC a bill for the help we've given them, directly and through NATO? That would help lower our national debt. This is a practice we should also apply to other countries seeking our assistance.

Things that make you go hummm
Are the following myths or facts ?

Arabs cannot possibly be anti-Semitic as they are themselves Semites?

Modern Arab nations are only anti-Israel and have never been anti-Jewish?

Jews who lived in Islamic countries were well-treated by the Arabs?
As 'People of the Book,' Jews and Christians are protected under Islamic law?

Muslim schools in the United States teach tolerance of Judaism and other faiths, and promote coexistence with Israel?

The jewishvirtuallibrary.org addresses these question in the article below

America's New God

By: Michael YoussefMichael Youssef, PhD is an Egyptian-born American and founding rector of The Church of The Apostles
On June 26ththe National Cathedral in Washington, D.C.was the latest church to be used for the promotion of syncretism—the attempted union of different religions.  The idea was that “Christian” ministers, Jewish Rabbis, and Muslim Imams would co-lead a service in “Christian” churches around America using a multi-faith liturgy.
Sadly, 70 other churches across America signed on to do the same thing. The event was organized by a group called “Faith Shared.” It comes as no shock that the service was designed to promote “religious tolerance.” This is indeed a major step forward in promoting what I believe to be America’s new god of tolerance.
The major problem with this false god of tolerance is that it is not marked by the true love that genuine Christians believe in and are called upon to exercise. Love of others, regardless of their background, religion, or complexion, should be expressed in offering hospitality, and even service, but not at the expense of the truth. Loving people and selling out on the truth of one’s faith are two different things altogether.
These liberal “apostate” denominations are not only naïve and ignorant of the truth of the Christian faith, they are acting on emotional impulse in a way that ultimately endangers our nation. They are seeking to engender personal acceptance from others, rather than imploring others to accept Christ as the Savior.
You may be wondering how a service that promotes “unity” could be dangerous to our nation. What many Americans do not understand is that Islam is not just a religion. It is a political and social system that is inseparable from the state. Islamic Sharia [law] is to be administered by Muslim caliphates or successors of the prophet, not a secular government. Indeed the founder of Islam was not only their prophet, but also their commander-in-chief, ruler and unifier, something they have been longing for again since the fourth one died and created a division between the Shiites and the Sunnis.
Also, what most of these naïve souls don’t understand is that Taqiah is a religious/political principal in Islam that allows Muslims to go along with this charade of mixing and mingling religions, something that is normally anathema to them. Taqiah says that when you do not have the upper hand, go along with the infidels’ schemes until you get the upper hand, and then subjugate them.
Has anyone noticed that none of these events are ever held in a Mosque? It is an anathema to have a Christian minister speak in a Mosque, but they are happy to occupy the pulpits of hapless Christians in American Christian churches. Indeed, it is considered a triumph of Islam over the infidels when they occupy Christian pulpits without opening their Mosques to Christian preachers.
Be that as it may, Bible-believing Christians should love everyone, including Muslims. That love can be expressed in a variety of ways: acts of kindness, hospitality, and friendship. Above all, there can be no greater act of love by true Christians than to share our most prized treasure with our Muslim friends.  Only Jesus Christ can meet their most desperate need by making a personal relationship with God possible. He came to earth from Heaven, took on the form of a servant, died on a cross, and rose again on the third day.
For true, genuine, and Bible-believing Christians, this is the greatest act of kindness that they can express to all people, including Muslims.
During this month of Ramadan, as Muslims fast from sunrise to sunset, all Christians need to pray that Muslims come to know the only One who is the way, the truth, and the giver of eternal life.

If the Torah and Injil were corrupted and Jews and Christians are astray why did Muhammad plagiarize them?

1. Islam claims the Bible is corrupted and the Quran was sent by God to replace it yet it plagiarzes whole stories from the Bible.

2. Muhammad plagiarzed from the Jewish Talmud and from Syrian Christian hymns

3 Muhammad adopted doctrines of heretical Jewish and Christian sects

4 Muhammad transferred all the pagan rituals of Arabia to Islam

Before you take Shahadah do you know the risks?

Fatwa from Egyptian Shaykh Muhammad Hassan

But if he enters Islam of his own free will and choice, he does not have the right to leave the religion of Allah whenever he wants, to shake the foundations of Muslim society. No, he does not have the right. Absolutely not. But he does have the right, after having (Islam) preached to him, to say, “I will enter” or “I will not enter this religion.” But to enter it just to leave it whenever he wants?

No. This is something which is unacceptable in the religion of Almighty Allah. Show me a constitution anywhere on earth which grants this for its citizens. But rather whoever comes out against the constitution of any nation is accused of treason. Everyone familiar with treason knows that the penalty is death. So what do you think about the one who betrays the religion of Allah Almighty, the one who betrays Allah and His Messenger? “O ye who believe! Do not betray Allah and His Messenger, nor knowingly betray your trusts” (Qur’an 8:27)."
